Frameworks

The Institute's named intellectual architecture — the methodologies it works by, the constructs it models with, and the regulatory architecture it proposes. Each one carries its honest epistemic status.

The 8 Pillars of Dimensional Literacy

The Institute's flagship operational framework — eight lenses for analyzing any system, phenomenon, or problem. Not what to think; how to see. Consciousness is the field through which the other seven are apprehended.

🧠
Consciousness
"Who is experiencing this?"
Time
"How does everything evolve?"
💾
Information
"How is reality encoded and processed?"
🎲
Uncertainty
"What can we actually know?"
Energy
"How does energy flow and transform?"
🔗
Systems
"How do parts connect to create wholes?"
🌱
Emergence
"How does complexity arise from simplicity?"
📏
Scale
"How does size change everything?"

The named architecture

Every construct the Institute has coined, in three tiers, rendered from the construct registry — the single source of truth. The badge on each says how load-bearing the claim is: from operational standard (practiced) down through established analogy, illustrative model, and hypothesis, to proposal (advocated, not enacted). IP marks an original framework of Holistic Quality LLC (see Legal).

How We Work

The methodologies and frameworks the Institute practices to produce its work.

Hexad Methodology IP

Operational Standard

Human-AI collaborative research methodology — one human anchor coordinating five AI systems under documented rigor protocols.

also: Hexad Method, the Hexad (method)

Dimensional Literacy (8 Pillars) IP

Operational Standard

The Institute’s 8-pillar framework for perceiving reality and defending the perceiving mind.

also: DLF, Dimensional Literacy Framework, DLP, Dimensional Literacy Platform

Digital Teflon IP

Established Analogy

Framing of algorithmic attention capture as a behavioral neurotoxin / pollutant the mind cannot ‘hold onto’.

How We Model

The constructs the Institute reasons with — analogies, scales, principles, and laws for thinking about attention, cognition, and capture. Most are explicitly illustrative or hypothetical; the badge on each says how load-bearing it is.

A 7×7 activation×orientation taxonomy of named consciousness states (+7 synthetic), by analogy to chemistry.

Cognitive Isotopes

Illustrative Model

A 5-weight depth ladder for each state (earned vs default), by analogy to nuclear isotopes.

also: Isotopes of Consciousness

Cognitive Entropy

Established Analogy

A thermodynamic analogy for attention’s tendency to drift toward low-effort states without sustained input.

also: The Second Law of Cognition (hosted here)

Attention Resilience Scale

Illustrative Model

A vocabulary/scale for thinking about attention resilience (self-labeled illustrative, not a measured instrument).

The claim that semantic space is real and measurable (compression of meaning).

also: Hexad Paradox (compression sense)

The hypothesis that algorithmic capture lowers neural complexity at population scale.

Cognitive Fusion

Illustrative Model

A cold-welding metaphor for how ideas fuse in consciousness.

A composite self-assessment scoring sovereignty across the six HEXAD dimensions.

also: CSI

Sovereignty Tiers

Established Analogy

Four tiers of sovereignty (individual→civilizational), each with a claimed neurological substrate + failure mode.

Dimensional Map

Illustrative Model

An organizing map of the six sovereignty dimensions.

The Hexad (Six Dimensions)

Illustrative Model

Six dimensions of cognitive sovereignty — the measurement model the CSI scores.

also: Hexad (measurement model)
Distinct from “Hexad Methodology” (How We Work): that is the collaboration method; this is the six-dimension measurement model.

The Second Law of Cognition

Established Analogy

Heuristic that attention dissipates toward disorder without sustained input — a thermodynamic metaphor, explicitly not literal physics.

Measurement does not merely distort but actively inverts the thing measured (Goodhart’s Law as the weak version).

Extraction systems are not stable at maturity — they consume their own substrate (self-termination thesis).

The Flush Doctrine

Established Analogy

Diluting a contaminant below a detection threshold and documenting the result as clean — dilution-as-remediation.

also: The Flush

Three forensic criteria for distinguishing organic information environments from manufactured ones.

The evidentiary standard for distinguishing organic linguistic evolution from strategic semantic capture.

What We Propose

The regulatory architecture the Institute advances. Every item here is a proposal — analysis offered for debate, not enacted law or legal advice.

A non-negotiable lower bound below which no efficiency/consensus argument can push a legitimate collaboration design.

also: The Anchor

Recovery from capability atrophy does not occur under market conditions.

Operationalized per-domain minimum human capabilities that cannot be delegated to AI.

also: sovereignty floors

The minimum shared epistemic ground democratic deliberation requires — below which collective reasoning fails.

The minimum human capability that must persist as complement to AI, defined against a Scale Threshold (‘lock and key’).

A single design specification synthesizing eleven sagas — the capstone build spec from capture to republic.

also: Sovereignty Standard

Design rules for civic technology that enables participation without capturing attention.

Treating public media as cognitive infrastructure — a funding/independence standard for shared information environments.

also: Broadcasting Standard

Platforms that shape citizen information should be treated as information fiduciaries with affirmative duties of loyalty.

also: The Information Fiduciary

The institutional pillars specifying how the epistemic/sovereignty floors are protected in practice.

The keystone of Saga XI — the canonical anti-extractive frame for human-AI collaboration; hosts the Capability Floor.

A proposed voluntary covenant of design constraints platforms adopt against attention extraction.

also: The Covenant, Voluntary Covenant
